Advertising & sponsored content policy
Last updated: 27 October 2026
Clear labels
- Every paid placement — native ad, banner, featured listing or sponsored article — is labelled “Sponsored” with the advertiser’s name.
- Links in ads use
rel="sponsored", as search engines require. - Sponsored articles are marked at the top and are not indexed as news.
Editorial independence
Advertisers cannot buy coverage, positive reviews, rankings or “verified” status. Our newsroom decides what to cover independently, and ad sales staff do not review editorial content.
What we accept
Crypto, Web3, fintech, AI and technology products, exchanges, wallets, infrastructure, events and education, from advertisers who pass our checks.
What we do not accept
- Ads promising guaranteed returns, “10x” gains or risk-free profits.
- Unregistered investment schemes, pyramid or referral schemes, and anonymous presales.
- Phishing, wallet drainers, fake airdrops, impersonation or misleading claims.
- Gambling, adult content, weapons, or anything illegal where it would be shown.
Advertiser checks
Before a campaign runs we check the advertiser’s identity, website, domain age, official social accounts and, where relevant, licences. We can refuse or remove any ad at any time, including after it has started.
Your privacy
Our ads are served directly by us. They do not track you across sites, and advertisers do not receive your personal data.
